DB-25 Distribution

Panels

Distribution panels convert 50-pin connectors to twelve DB-25 RS-

232 connectors (see Figure 3-4). One distribution panel or fan-out

cable is required for 12 devices. Two are required for 24 ports.

The following distribution panels are available from Equinox:

Figures 3-7 and 3-8 illustrate the internal wiring for both DCE and

DTE distribution panels, respectively.
